The STIGA Tornado 398 M ride-on mower is designed for those wanting to cut grass with the side discharge function or the optional choice of mulching with the STIGA mulching plug.
With an attractive, modern look, this ride-on mower is powered by a STIGA engine with a net power output of 6.5 kW @ 2800 rpm.
The Tornado 398 M has a mechanical transmission and a 98 cm cutting deck with two blades and 2 anti-scalp wheels.
The cutting height can be adjusted to 7 positions (from 25 to 80 mm) using a lever next to the driving seat, whilst the blades are activated by an electromagnetic clutch at the touch of a button.
Battery charger, trailer hitch and mulching plug sold separately.
A STIGA Ergonomic steering wheel works with a STIGA Classic adjustable high-back seat to make it a delight to drive.
Mechanical transmission
Change gears using the designated lever. The mower has 5 forward and 1 reverse gear.
Washing link for cleaning
The mower is supplied with a special washing link for cleaning the cutting deck.
Button to start the blades
For starting or stopping the blades using the special electromagnetic clutch.

Cutting height adjustment
Easily adjust the cutting deck height with the lever and select from seven heights ranging from 25 to 80 mm.
