Unlike a rotary blade – which relies on the speed that the blade rotates
at, to chop the grass on impact – the cylinder mower uses a revolving
cutting cylinder that spins against a fixed ‘bottom’ blade (which runs
the width of the machine).

Used by both professionals and serious gardeners alike, the Olympic 660
self-propelled Masport cylinder lawnmower gives you a traditional striped effect.

The Olympic 660 Golf features a centrifugal clutch which allows independent control of the 10 bladed cutting cylinder and a clutch operated powerful self drive rear roller. The Olympic 660 achieves very low cutting heights from 4-30mm, producing well manicured lawns with “Wimbledon Stripe” effect from the rear roller The result is nothing short of an absolutely professional finish.

Mounted on the front of the lawnmower is the 70 litre grass catcher.
