A powerful mower that’s purpose-built for medium- to large-sized lawns
Ease of use
The Harrier 475A takes all the hard work out of lawn care. It’s self-propelled, which means you never have to push, and it’s also blessed with a unique BBC (blade brake clutch) that allows you to stop the blade without switching the engine off. This makes it easy to maneuver this powerful mower without damaging your lawn, and it also means it’s much quicker to stop and empty the large 70l grass bag. Talk about hassle-free!
It’s not all about time-saving technologies though. The Harrier 475A is also designed to produce flawless lawns every time, and it possesses a high-performance, two-piece rear roller that produces effortless lawn-stripes every time.
Best of all though, the Harrier 475A boasts Briggs and Stratton ReadyStart technology, which automatically primes your engine – and ensures that you can always start your mower in two tries or less
The Harrier 475A is more than capable of powering through any medium- to large-sized lawn. A wide cutting deck, forward-facing fins and fully-adjustable cut-height controls ensure that you get a neat cut every time – regardless of whether you’re cutting high, thick or even wet grass.
The powerful, Briggs and Stratton 650 Ex Series engine also provides plenty of torque, which guarantees consistent results on difficult terrain, and enables you to power through large lawns in much less time than it’d take using a smaller (or less-powerful) mower.
A die-cast aluminium cutting deck and lightweight frame help to keep this mower’s weight low, and boost its fuel efficiency. Briggs and Stratton’s commercial-grade Ex Series engines also incorporate a lot of eco-friendly technologies, which keeps the running cost low and minimizes your carbon footprint.
Like all of Hayter’s mowers, the 475A is a hardwearing mower that’s built to withstand years of heavy use. Its aluminium cutting deck is hardwearing and resistant to most forms of corrosion. Its’ rear roller uses self-aligning bearings, and Hayter have also opted to use a unique cutter blade friction disc that protects the camshaft from bending whenever you (inevitably) hit a solid object.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, the 475A also boasts a 5 year domestic warranty, which makes it a safe bet for any domestic gardener…
