The AL-KO Comfort 46.0 SPB is a top end model with an 18 inch / 46cm cut, single speed power drive and Briggs & Stratton engine. The Comfort 46.0 SP-B replaces the Highline 46.7 SP. The taller MaxAirFlow steel decks on the Comfort models improve collection and help to prevent the discharge channel from becoming blocked.
The Comfort 46.0 SP-B self-propelled mower offers you a 4-in-1 function giving you the choice between collection, rear discharge, side discharge and mulching. If you just want to collect the grass cuttings this is done easily with the 60L box so no need for regular emptying and it has a fill-level indicator to let you know when you do need to empty it.
Height adjustment can be done really simply with the central spring assisted lever and you can set the lever at 7 positions from 30 – 80mm. So start at the highest setting and work down for the best cut and finish for your lawn.
Decide whether to collect the grass or discharge it to the rear or side of the mower or perhaps choose to mulch it into very tiny pieces.
Mulching is an excellent way to feed your lawn releasing nutrients back into the soil and is recommended when conditions are dry and grass tends to be shorter.

The extra tall steel decks and large discharge channel increase the airflow resulting in grass clippings being thrown in a high arc to the back of the collector ensuring the collector is filled to the top and discharge channel does not get blocked.
