That powerful performance is down to a Kawasaki FS 691 V Twin cylinder engine; a high-capacity 726cc four-stroke air-cooled unit with an impressive output – enabling you to tow a range of attachments comfortably (tow-hitch included).
Thanks to its side discharge cutter deck, which deposits cuttings in neat and even rows to the right-hand side, the GTX 48HR Twin 4WD is capable of handling the sort of overgrown meadow grass that would prove too much for a collecting tractor to cope with. Cutting the rough has never been so smooth!
The GTX 48HR Twin 4WD is a four-wheel-drive machine, so it will take marked inclines and damp, muddy ground in its stride. A hydrostatic drive – foot-pedal controlled – allowing for smooth acceleration and deceleration with no clunky manual gear shifting required; while a snap-on hosepipe connector makes the job of under deck cleaning a breeze.
The premium features don’t stop there – also included is a six LED display for at-a-glance monitoring of all the important operating indicators; deck mounted gauge wheels for a scalp-free finish; and nine-step cutting height adjustment (25-100mm) for the management of varying grass conditions.
Supplied with a mulching plug, the GTX 48HR Twin 4WD can also be set up to achieve superb results on formal, often-mown lawns.
