The name Centurion is in recognition of ATCO reaching 100 not out! 2021 marks 100 years since the launch of the Iconic British brand. ATCO has created an exciting range of Centurion Front Cut Mowers to celebrate providing the finest cut of all for over a century!

The first model in the range is the ATCO Centurion 2WD Front cut Mower, powered by STIGA with an ST 550 586cc Twin cylinder fully pressure lubricated engine, it features a double chamber carburettor to improve starting performance and gives smoother running of both cylinders through better balanced fuel delivery.

Hot and cold starting is no problem for the STIGA ST series of engines. Bench tested for 500 hours usage with no loss of performance –even those gardeners with larger lawns can be confident that this engine will provide of years of service with minimal maintenance.

The Centurion 2WD is recommended for use with the ATCO Easy Clean 39” triple bladed front mounted cutting deck, that is available to purchase separately.  This can be easily lifted with a few simple movements to allow for cleaning of the underside and for access to the blades. The fully floating deck is fitted with two pivoting anti-scalp wheels at the front, along with a tubular bar to give higher resistance against accidental impacts. The front mounted deck ensures superior visibility when working, giving improved accessibility to corners and a more precise cut along edges.

The deck is made of 2.5mm thick pressed steel and the blades are driven by Kevlar reinforced belts for extra durability, it can be easily converted from mulching to rear discharge mode for overgrown areas or thicker growth. The Centurion 2WD comes with electric cutting height adjustment and the patented RAC system which allows for quick switching between existing cutting deck and other front mounted implements available in the ATCO/STIGA range.

The specific design of the chassis with its unmatched 50:50 articulation allows the operator to move around obstacles and along walls and fences without the need to look back -as the rear of the machine always follows the path of the front section. Featuring hydraulic power steering and hydrostatic transmission ensures superior manoeuvrability and control, making driving the Centurion 2WD a smoother, more comfortable drive when mowing your lawn.
