The AL-KO Solo T16-103.7 HD-V2 Comfort Hydrostatic Rear Collect Garden Tractor has been perfectly designed for the efficient quick mowing of large gardens of over 5000 sq metres.
Recently redesigned it offers a new, modern design, improved chassis and tighter turning circle.
Safety and visibility has been improved with a higher seat position, the cutting height has been lowered to 20-80mm to give a more precise cut, the quick release deck allows for easier servicing and the grass box has been raised for greater clearance. In addition the pedal layout has been improved to make it more user-friendly and it has been given larger wheels for greater comfort and convenience.
Powered by a strong Briggs & Stratton Intek Series 7160 two-cylinder engine which develops 9.1kW, it features a Comfort foot-operated hydrostatic transmission. The transmission lever controls speed and direction smoothly, to bring riding pleasure to flat or challenging terrain. Large tyres ensure optimum traction, whilst being gentle on the lawn.
The large 300 litre grass collector features gas spring assisted emptying, easily accessible from the driver’s seat. The audible fill level signal alerts the user that the collector is full and requires emptying before any blockages occur. Other features include the soft touch, anti-slip steering wheel, headlights with bright LED lights and clear controls.
Boasting high-quality components developed in Germany and manufactured in Austria, the new torsion-resistant frame guarantees a long service life, with a front bumper fitted to provide protection against accidental knocks. The comfortable operator seat not only offers perfect lateral hold and sitting comfort – the infinitely variable adjustment option also means the seat can be ideally adapted to any stature.
