With a chipping capacity of 70 mm in diameter, branches simply flow through the large inlet chute, the momentum from the cantilevered cutting disk creates a strong draft to discharge chip high onto a stock pile or trailer.
The C7 is powered by the powerful industrial grade easy starting 6.5HP Honda GX200 engine.
The C7 delivers extraordinary self-feeding performance. The 12.5 kg cutting disc rotates at 2850 RPM creating a self perpetuating inertia. The draft created by the winged cutting disc pulls foliage into the machine fast and effectively through the 130 x 150 mm infeed opening. The outlet chute height of 780 mm allows the user to load chip onto a trailer or stockpile.
Engineered and manufactured in New Zealand using the highest quality components to last a lifetime. The Soft Start Technology engages the belts between the engine and cutting disc for smooth running and protects you engine against shock loading.
Made of steel and finished with a durable powder coated finish with zinc shield rust protection delivers longevity.
Easy access for routine servicing and maintenance by removing two bolts on the housing.
The two A8 modified steel knives have an impressive lifespan and can be sharpened up to 10 times.
DURABLE FINISH
Hansa chipper housings are made of solid 5mm & 10mm steel. All surfaces are media blasted prior to powder-coating for complete adhesion.
SELF-FEEDING
The chute is designed with the user in mind. It includes a large opening (no pre-cutting necessary!) and is angled at a comfortable operating height to make the most of its self-feeding action.
EASY ACCESS
Blockages are rare, but should you need to clear the housing or access knives for servicing the chipper is designed to open up easily & safely.
SHARP CUTS
The cutting knives shear the material against an adjustable hardened anvil with a scissor like action.
DIRECT DISCHARGE
Draught action rotor allows mulch to discharge directly from outlet. Collect in a optional bag, discharge direct to ground or for high-outlet models – straight into trailer or stockpile.
SOFT START
Easy starting with soft start technology – wind down handle to engage the belt drive between engine and rotor for smooth running and protection of your engine against shock loads.
