The C13 is powered by the powerful industrial grade easy starting 13HP Honda GX390 engine. Together with Honda, Hansa have undertaken a detailed engine match testing programme to ensure the capabilities of the C13 are perfectly balanced with the power output of the Honda GX390. This ensures longevity of the high performance of both the chipper and engine.
The C13 delivers extraordinary self-feeding performance. The 36 kg cutting disc rotates at 2000 RPM creating a self perpetuating inertia. The draft created by the winged cutting disc pulls foliage into the machine fast and effectively through the 170 x 220 mm in-feed opening. The outlet chute height of 1085 mm allows the user to load chip onto a trailer or stockpile.

The Soft Start Technology engages the belts between the engine and cutting disc for smooth running and protects you engine against shock loading.
Made of steel and finished with a durable powder coated finish with zinc shield rust protection delivers longevity.
The two A8 modified steel knives have an impressive lifespan and can be sharpened up to 10 times.
DURABLE FINISH
Hansa chipper housings are made of solid 5mm & 10mm steel. All surfaces are media blasted prior to powder-coating for complete adhesion.
SELF-FEEDING
The chute is designed with the user in mind. It includes a large opening (no pre-cutting necessary!) and is angled at a comfortable operating height to make the most of its self-feeding action.
EASY ACCESS
Blockages are rare, but should you need to clear the housing or access knives for servicing the chipper is designed to open up easily & safely.
SHARP CUTS
The cutting knives shear the material against an adjustable hardened anvil with a scissor like action.
DIRECT DISCHARGE
Draught action rotor allows mulch to discharge directly from outlet. Collect in an optional bag, discharge direct to ground or for high-outlet models – straight into trailer or stockpile.
SOFT START
Easy starting with soft start technology – wind down handle to engage the belt drive between engine and rotor for smooth running and protection of your engine against shock loads.
