Husqvarna’s 440 is a second generation rear handle chainsaw designed for taking on heavy duty cutting work around large gardens, farms and estates.

This petrol chainsaw is powered by a 40.9cc X-Torq engine with an enhanced combustion process working to boost power, increase fuel efficiency by up to 20%, and reduce harmful exhaust emissions by up to 75%.

Fitted with a 38cm / 15in bar and safety chain as standard, the 440 offers superb cutting power, quickly and efficiently chopping firewood as well as felling, snedding and bucking smaller trees with ease.

In addition to this the inclusion of a new and improved Smart Start system, an easy-access primer bulb and a clever combined choke/stop control ensures that starting is always pleasingly hassle-free, while a transparent window in the 0.37 litre fuel tank and a flip-up cap makes refuelling equally straightforward.

The Husqvarna 440 has a forged three-piece crankshaft that gives it maximum durability and allows it to cope comfortably with the toughest tasks. A centrifugal air cleaning system reduces wear and increases operating times between filter cleanings. The air filter is quick and easy to release, while having a visible fuel level (and a flip-up tank cap that’s easy to open and close) ensures keeping your machine running at its best couldn’t be simpler.
